I snore sometimes at night and i want it to stop. can u tell me some tricks?

My husband always stops snoring when I poke him in the back, lol. Try sleeping on your stomach that alway works for him.

Actually they are no tricks. But try the Breathe right nose strips. If that doesn't work you may need surgery to correct the problem. Good luck

Weight loss; Sleep study to diagnose sleep apnea, and I'm pretty sure there is a surgery where they go into your throat and clear out all the what ever- making it larger thus enabling you to take in more air. You may want to stop in and see an ear nose and throat doctor- my daughter's tonsils were so large she snored for the first year of her life- till we had them remove. Then, our family seems to have very very narrow nasal passages causing chronic sinus problems- and snoring. My father had his sinus's scraped - but it only made his snoring a tad bit lighter. He sleeps with a CPap machine. Then of course there is always the recliner. If you elevate the top half of your body while sleeping- that seems to help snoring. With all of that being said- if you have some weight to loose- you'll see a difference just by loosing 5 pounds. I lost a few pounds and seen an immediate difference ( my neighbors stopped pounding on the walls at night:)

A few things you can do; 1. Avoid alcohol: it relaxes the back of your throat and can cause or worsen snoring. 2. Avoid dairy products at night: they can create phlegm which can cause or worsen snoring. 3. Try OTC (over the counter) remedies. Each will work differently on different people, so be sure to try a few. These can include nasal strips, mouth guards, or our device called the Good Morning Snore Solution. 4. Regulating your sleep pattern, if possible, is also helpful. Go to bed at the same time every night and wake up at the same time. 5. Try different sleeping positions. Some people say their snoring goes away when they sleep on their side as opposed to their back. 6. Go see your doctor or dentist. They can provide further solutions or suggestions.
