I recently quit smoking about 3 weeks back and I'm about 29, in decent shape and I run and work out but I snore in my sleep my girlfriend tells me. I probably am guilty of mouth breathing in my sleep as well. Any ideas on what I might do to curb my snoring?

Is there a cure for snoring?
I had my tonsils and adenoids removed when I was very young to help my breathing difficulties. I can mostly breathe through my nose but find it easier to breathe through my mouth. I don't have much control at night over how I breathe but I snore very badly either way and it's getting embarrassing. Is there a cure? If so, what is it or do I need to see my GP?

My partner has recently started snoring and its impacting our relationship as i cannot stand to sleep next to him anymore coz i simply cant get to sleep. I have recently read that the main reason is being overweight. He's recently started bodybuilding, and has put on 20kg in 5 months. 2 nights ago it was really bad, but last night wasnt too bad. i put it down to him not having a protein shake before bed which he usually does. His mother has the same problem with his dad and says from experience, no nasal sprays or fancy $300 pillows work like they say they do. is there anyone out there who has had this same problem and overcome it? we are willing to do virtually anything but he wont lose the weight though haha . help me please

My new man snores like a buffalo. Joking aside he breathes loudly and huffs and puffs all night whilst continually snoring extremely loud I can't get a wink of sleep I know this is a common problem with no such cure but I don't want to offend him but I can't sleep at all when he stays even when he lies on his side he snores and makes loud exaggerated breathing noises which are so loud they keep me awake He keeps telling me to prod him if he snores but its all the time so that just doesn't work He wakes up for like 5 seconds and stops then it starts all over again Does anyone know of anything that relieves snoring a bit? Apart from smothering him with a pillow Just kidding Any help would be appreciated as I can see im gonna have to try and make excuses for him not to stay over if I want any sleep at all Please help

I have had a chance to listen to my dad snore last couple of days he is around 55 . & i am thinking he might be snoring due to inadequate flow of air in the room? could that be it? i dont think he is OVERweight. he sleeps on the side as well any other cures..? do the strips work well?it doesn't other me i mean it does but i don't care about me getting bothered what i care about is his problem. Yes he wakes up suddenly and gasp for air...i was thinking may be one of those vicks humidfiers might help?or no? or dr. is the only remedy?

My boy friend wont stop snoring Im sick of being awake all night cranky all day and he does not understand he keeps saying 'sorry what can i do about it?' That makes me even angrier.hes tried sleeping on his side, sudofed,snoring foam you spray into your mouth. not drinking or eating late. If I don't get help Im gonna have to make him sleep on the couch permanently.he cant sleep with his mouth closed as soon as he dozes off his gob falls openbunny you are talking out of your anus you clearly have no understanding of this situation
